About the Conference
We are pleased to invite you to the 8th International Conference of the European Transcultural Nursing Association (ETNA) to be held on 25-28 June 2022 in Odense, Denmark.
The conference is hosted by ETNA in partnership with the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), Odense University Hospital (OUH) and Visit Odense.
The conference will address the topic: Revolutionizing Transcultural Care – Reflecting, exploring, and responding to global health and care challenges.
The aim is to bring together researchers and health and social care professionals to learn, share, and inspire collaboration on current and emerging global health and care challenges.
Transcultural nursing has become a key component of healthcare in an increasingly globalized world, and an essential competence for today’s practising nurses to provide individualized and holistic care for the benefit of both patients and their families.
However, global cooperation and responses to health and care challenges require a continuous rethinking and innovation of the transcultural approach and research field. This has become even more apparent due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Consequently, we hope to appeal to a broad range of participants and researchers using different methods and approaches, and who are passionate about sharing reflective and imaginative ideas.
You can expect a very stimulating, fruitful and enjoyable conference in Odense.
